1. Infrastructure and Portal

 

ScannerX's up-to-date vulnerability knowledge base powers our comprehensive network security audits and vulnerability management technology. We update the knowledge base every 15 minutes with tests for newly discovered vulnerabilities and validated fixes from hundreds of sources worldwide.

 

ScannerX's vulnerability management portal provides highly secure access to detailed vulnerability audits and remediation information on load-balanced application servers. Our web-based vulnerability management portal provides easy access to vulnerability management information from any location. Extensive tools enable you to launch scans, examine vulnerability details, create network device groups, track trends, access patch information, configure alerts, assign user rolls and user device responsibility groups, and generate customized reports.

  

2. Remote Scans

 

Using a cluster of scanning servers located at ScannerX's premises, this scanning occurs across the Internet and allows viewing the security of the systems as seen by potential external attackers.

 

Typically the kinds of servers scanned are Web Servers, FTP Servers, Mail Servers, Exchange Servers, SQL Servers and Internet exposed Firewalls. Scans are not limited by operating system and the service includes general security tests, along with specific tests for Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP, UNIX, Novell, AS-400, Mainframe, etc. Among these tests are special firewall and network router checks, application level tests, and more.

 

The remote scans do not require any kind of software installation on remote hosts/servers. Due to the advanced technology which supports our solution, we are able to scan such items as databases or systems without the need for additional agents or software installations on hosts/servers. Our solution is therefore cost efficient and reliable.

 

 

Internal Scans

 

In addition to external scans we can scan your internal network or intranet with our scanner appliances. ScannerX Scanners are appliance versions of the Internet Remote Scanners. These scanners enable customers to bring ScannerX's assessment capabilities to their internal networks. Installed in minutes and requiring no maintenance by the user, the hardened Linux appliance needs no special firewall configurations to obtain updates and new vulnerability signatures or perform scan jobs.  Returning results are securely delivered over a standard SSL-encrypted channel.

 

Each scanning appliance is controlled by our central knowledge base and vulnerability management system, allowing the most suitable appliance to be automatically assigned to each device under test.

 

Pricing

 

ScannerX Vulnerability Scanning services are sold in Host/IP packs as a monthly recurring subscriptions. Each month you are able to scan your Hosts/IPs an unlimited number of times. Please select the pack for the total number of Hosts/IPs that you would like to test for vulnerabilities each month.
